Pet Fest 2025
This event is brought to you by Acland Village Traders.
Pet Fest is all about celebrating pets and their owners on Sat, July 26 between 11am – 3pm, in O’Donnell Gardens, St Kilda – whether it be fur, fins, scales and more!
Join us for a fun day of demonstration, education, products and services including:
- A free photo of your pet with pet photographer, TD Pet Studio
- Dog training demonstrations with My Pet Tutor
- Agility & trick dog & with Melbourne Canine Freestyle – a demonstration team with performances all across Australia. Well-known as the “Purple People”, their team consists of various breeds of dogs. They love bringing smiles to people’s faces by performing, training, and most importantly having fun with their dogs!
- Open agility course to try with your dog
- Butterfly enclosure to enjoy interacting with live, colourful butterflies
- Meet and chat to the beekeepers, plus, chat with owners of alpaca, black-nosed sheep and miniature donkeys – and see them live!

My Pet Tutor
I am a registered vet nurse and animal behaviourist. I work with all pets, but specialise in puppies. I offer puppy classes, behaviour consultations, and in-home training. I also provide home nail trims and basic grooming, help with administering medication, assist pets in becoming comfortable with vet visits, and offer guidance on selecting and setting up for new pets. Come and see me for tips and advice!

Forever Friends Animal Rescue
Forever Friends Animal Rescue is run entirely by 700+ volunteers that rescue and rehabilitate our most vulnerable animals — the abandoned, abused, elderly and sick. From dogs and cats to rabbits, former racehorses and farm animals. Visit us to see which dogs we have for adoption or buy our homemade items like beanies, scarves, knitted cat toys, blankets, dog bandanas, tug toys and more to help us raise funds!
