Acland Street is Melbourne’s dessert precinct! Try 4 x cake shops, 4 x ice cream shops AND one yoghurt shop for only $15! OR just the 4 x ice cream shops and yoghurt shop for $10!
With it’s decades old cake shops, with windows filled to the ceiling with cakes and slices, and delicious and varied ice cream and yoghurt shops, Acland Street has to be Melbourne’s dessert precinct! And, for just $15, you get to try it all!
Meet us on Sat, November 16 between 12pm – 3pm, outside the St Kilda RSL at 88 Acland Street, to collect your tasting ticket for the most indulgent day of tasting tarts, gateau, sorbets, gelato and more. And now, with two dessert ticket offerings, you can take on all Acland has to offer, or opt for a little bit less 🙂

NOTE: The cakes are approx. half size of a regular slice and the ice creams & yoghurt are a child’s size serve so you may even want to share with someone, or eat the ice creams/yoghurt and take the cakes home for eating at another time

So, how does it work?
- Book a $15 ticket (inc GST, plus booking fee), making sure to select your choices from the cake shops
OR
- Book a $10 ticket for the ice cream and yoghurt shops for $10 (inc GST, plus booking fee)
- Between 12pm – 3pm on Sat, November 16, visit our check in table at 83 Acland Street (next to Europa) and swap your tickets for the sampling ticket you’ll need to show to the businesses, so they know you’re part of the event
- Be sure to have collected your sampling ticket, and visited all businesses for your treats, by 3pm as this is when the event ends
- This is a take away event, so please don’t sit at the tables and chairs in the businesses. If you want to have a seat, you can wander to O’Donnell Gardens next to Luna Park
- Once tickets are sold out, you can register on the waitlist by click through on ticket booking link, in case tickets become available
- Refunds available up to and including Fri, Nov 8. If you need a refund after this date, email us and, if there is someone waitlisted for tickets, we may be able to refund you. If there isn’t, we cannot refund
- Tickets MUST BE BOOKED before the event. No sales on the day. Ticket sales close Fri, Nov 15 at 3pm

7 Apples Gelato has been part of Acland Street since 2001. The store was founded by Mark Mariotti, who is of Italian heritage and trained in Italy. 7 Apples Gelato is a proud artisan producer of gelato, the gelato is made on site every day. On most days, the gelato is still made by Mark – he loves gelato and he loves Acland Street. 7 Apples uses fresh seasonal produce, which is why their popular mango sorbet is only available in the warmer months. They also make milkshakes from any of the flavours in the cabinet, why not try their popular Dark Chocolate Sorbet which is made from decadent Callebaut Chocolate.
Ben and Jerry’s

Monarch Cakes has been in Acland Street since 1934. Next year we will celebrate our 90th birthday. Our cakes are traditionally Eastern European and baked to original recipes using the finest local ingredients. Everything is baked here with love and pride in our craft. We are a much loved institution with generations of customers who have frequented our store. We are a family run business with 3-generations working together to ensure the old school traditions are kept alive.

The Acland Cake Shop

The Acland Cake Shop has been a part of Acland Street’s rich history since 1962. It is now owned by Peter and Anna, who took over in 2010, after leaving the corruption of Cambodia, searching for a freedom they could not find in their own country. Bringing 20 years of baking experience with them, they were worthy new owners and have continued the tradition of specialising in vanilla slices, fruit boats and more.
Yo-Bar

In 2023, Yo-Bar blessed Acland Street with a new and upcoming self-serve Frozen Yoghurt and Acai company. We have the largest selection of toppings and yoghurt flavours in the whole of Australia! We offer a range of smoothies, self-serve acai and frozen yoghurt, fruit cups and Peanut Butter and Nutella on tap! We currently have three locations in Melbourne and we have big plans to keep growing!
The founders Viv and Annie, have the intention to always encourage creativity, by allowing all consumers to handcraft their own bowl of goodness. This inspired the famous Yo-Bar’s slogan ‘Make It Your Way’.
