Our penguins have gone by Penguin 1 and Penguin 2 too long – they need names and this is where you come in! Read on for details on submitting your choice/s and, as thanks, we’re offering 2 x prizes of $400 in gift vouchers to spend in Acland Street Village Precinct, to those who name our feathered friends.
How to enter
- Submit your suggestion of name by popping it in the comments on our Facebook post and letting us know why you chose this name. For an extra entry, also add the name and your reason for choosing in the comments on our Insta post
- Love to get one more cheeky entry? Take a photo of one/both of our penguins, or share our penguin video or post on your FB or Insta, and include the name and reason for choosing in your post. Make sure to tag @aclandvillage on Insta and @aclandstreetvillage on FB and #aclandstreetvillage
Where are the penguins?
You’ll find the penguins at the Beach Road end of Luna Park, on the grassed area right next to the road.
Judging and announcement of winners
Entries will be judged by the Acland Street Village Business Association and announced Mon, March 27 at 12pm on social media.
Acland Street Village Business Association’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
